The two things I love above everything else is learning and teaching. Nothing gives me a kick like when I finally master something I have been working on for a long time. Or when a student has a been able to do quicker progress than me because he/she avoided repeating my mistakes. And speaking of mistakes... I have done a bunch of them and still do them. But I have learned to live with them, and actually I am starting to like some of them (and I am not speaking about my kids, don't get any ideas now ;) ).
